  • Grated Carrot : 4 Cups
  • Ghee : 1.5 Teaspoon
  • Sugar : 1 Cup
  • Golden Raisins (Kishmis) : 15 or as required
  • Cashews (halves or large pieces) : 12 Cashews or as required
  • Almonds (optional) Thickly chopped : 10 or as required
  • Condensed Milk : ¼ Cup (optional)
  • Grate the carrots after washing And peeling
  • In a wide pan, roast the dry fruits in Ghee for 1 minute.
  • Now,  add grated Carrots to the same pan.
  • Cook for about  2 to 3 minutes until  soft.
  • Add Milk and mix well and cook, stirring continuously till the milk comes to boil.
  • Add Sugar and mix well when half of the Milk has evaporated.
  • Add condensed milk (optional)
  • Add crushed Cardamom.
  • Continue cooking on low flame till the milk evaporates.
  • Garnish with some roasted Cashew halves, soaked and soaked/roasted Raisins etc.
  • The delicious Carrot Halwa is ready.
